Blue

Sometimes I sit and stare up toward the
sky
expecting to see some sort of sign or acknowledgment
expecting to see some sort of sign or acknowledgment
that
everything will turn out fine
But I never do
Instead, all I see
is the vast emptiness that is the color blue.
